The Akasha Academy provides different programs for healthiness, health consciousness, hygiene, and healing.
For balancing health and spirituality we provide spiritual and health exercises (Yoga & Qigong) and meditation, healing methods, Dharma practice, teachings and chants.
In as much as possible to receive healing through any of our methods suitable, it is also possible to learn and train in our healing arts.
Our intention is to instruct in healthy and holistic ways of living, based on our underlying Dharma path of spirituality, Yoga and Medical Science. Thus, in a synergetic manner we employ our holistic healing methods for the best possible results.
Akasha Healing is in line with the oldest healing and medical traditions from the top of the world. One major pillar is established through Tibetan medicine, and other major medical assets are closely related to Indian and Chinese medical systems. Due to its truly holistic (physical, energetic, and spiritual) approach, it can in particular foster health, diagnose and treat psychosomatic and functional diseases, as well as systemic diseases, autoimmune diseases, - areas where Western academic medicine is still in its infancy. This approach is known to be workable in many of those cases, but since this healing system is holistic it might work in one case, but perhaps not in a case diagnosed similar according to Western medicine.
Western medical science, on the other hand, undoubtedly has contributed to many rather tangible disciplines, such as hygiene, anatomy, physiology, pathology, surgery, traumatology, pharmacology and so on.
Akasha Academy provides the knowledge of those medical disciplines indispensable for our holistic vision of universal healing.
Akasha Healing
Akasha Healing is trained in generally on the foundation of the Akasha Energy Training. If seriously interested in our Dharma approach of substantial healing, the deeper foundation is developed through the Sacred Akasha Exercises as part of our Dharma path.
Akasha Healing exists until today as a healing system as part of some medical schools in Eastern Tibet and the Tibetan Chinese border regions where it is simply called Tsalung-healing (the healing of / through Prana and Nadi). This healing system is very close to the modern esoteric healing system known as Reiki in the West. Since there exists no particular term for this healing system, it is virtually impossible to search or ask for such an approach. Due to the closeness to the ancient Dzogchen and Daoist teachings it is referred to as Akasha Healing.

Furthermore, it is known that in certain presentations the healing system Reiki is taught to originate from Tibet. It is not known whether Mr. Usui ever travelled to far Eastern Tibet in order to learn this healing art, but it is remarkable, that their techniques and the techniques transmitted in Eastern Tibet for Healing with and without physical touch are quite identical.
Medical & Healing Arts
As a necessary asset of this training some aspects of modern medical science, such as anatomy, physiology, patho-physiology, etc. as well as the connected holistic and medical training from the West and of course as part of the foundation of our system, Tibetan medicine and Ayurveda will be taught and employed.
As part of our program for the purpose of recreation we offer healing through massage, diet and purification (physical and spiritual), specific healing exercises and Yoga / Qigong, healing chants, healing silence and meditation.
Also we instruct our participants, visitors and guests in basics about health and hygiene, sustainability and our interdependence with the environment.
