TK Rinpoche performed the Tshethar ritual in Gauting where over two thousand trout were released into their new life in freedom in the river Würm. Thank you to everyone who participated!
Offering the gift of life
Despite the extreme weather conditions, we were happy to welcome guests from all over the world to experience the Tshethar ritual – an ancient practice, where beings threatened with death are offered the gift of life in freedom. This deep act of generosity has a positive impact on the life force of the animals as well as the visitors.
We were especially happy that a lot of families with children participated in the ritual and took Rinpoche’s blessings home. It was wonderful to observe the natural curiosity and compassion of the kids how they helped the fish find their way into the river – their “new” home.
We hope that the globally changing climate conditions still allow us to continue with this precious Long Life-Ritual also in 2024. We are then going to celebrate our 10th Tshethar Anniversary at Park Schloss Fußberg.
