Nepal – Germany: Creating pathways together for the future of our planet
At 15.10.2023, 16:00-17:30 in der Akasha Academy Munich, Stöberlstraße 68, 80686 Munich
The situation of Nepal as one of the poorest countries and one of the countries most affected by climate change is put in relation to the situation in Germany. We show that despite big differences between the two countries, the essential living conditions are the same: Clean water, clean air and a balanced climate. With video contributions from Nepal, we provide insights into the situation on the ground. We present projects in the fields of education, women empowerment, environmental protection and health that inspire confidence and bring about a positive change – locally and globally.

Follow Willy the whale on his journey through the oceans
An interactive story about our connection with nature

Children will be most affected by climate change. To be able to courageously engage for a future on this planet, it is important for them to understand how closely everything in nature is connected and that nature needs protection to preserve life. The workshop shows the interdependence of life in a playful way through the fascinating relationship between humans and whales. Thanks to whales, we have enough oxygen to breathe and CO2 is captured from the air. Protecting whales is therefore essential for our own survival on Earth.
