Long Yang e.V. is committed to the preservation and revival of an original Buddhist practice path of the Himalayas. Therefore, we create places and possibilities to make the spiritual and medical knowledge of Buddhist traditions from the Himalayas accessible to people from all over the world. The focus of our work is the establishment of Akasha Academy in Munich and Nepal according to the vision of Tulku Khyungdor Rinpoche. At the same time we engage in various other social and ecological projects supporting a sustainable development in the region.

The White Lama

The White Lama, Tulku Khyungdor Rinpoche, founded the Long Yang e.V. and is also the spiritual master and head of the Akasha Academy in Munich and Nepal. Enthroned as Tulku and lineage holder of the Dorje Lingpa tradition, he focuses his Dharma activity on an even more ancient and original Buddhist practice path from the time of Padmasambhava. In order to revive this almost forgotten tradition he founded the Akasha Academy in Munich and Nepal. As an institution for teaching, learning and practicing, the Academy will harbor and revive the knowledge connected to this path and passes it on to future generations.
